Rise of the Omens: Kalyani's Past

Summary:
Kalyani is one of my Role Playing characters and this video gives a brief look of the struggles she currently faces due to her childhood.

Story:
Kalyani's parents were scientists. Her father constantly tried to push his limits, trying to create life and play God. However, his skills at first were lacking, and he required a vessel to implant with the souls he had created. Kal, the unwanted and unplanned child, would have a purpose.

As a front, Kal's father ran an orphanage. It was here that Kalyani would be put to work. She was forced to befriend child after child, and once they trusted her she handed them over to her father so he could use them in his experiments. She hated what she was doing, but could do nothing to stop her father. As the years went on though she became indifferent, going about her task willingly.

She was only saved from being a tool when a lab accident killed her father. With her father dead and her mother missing, it would seem as if she could finally change herself. She didn't. Instead she opted to follow in her father's footsteps, and try to succeed where he had failed.

Now, years later, it seems as if Kalyani is putting it all behind her, wanting to change her ways and right the wrong she did as a child. Though some may see her as heartless, she regrets what she did every waking moment.
