here's the trick. first activate the mission but do not talk to your apprentice. go to the area where the hostages are supposed to be hold. ALL the guards will be there. kill them, right now detection is allowed because you have not talked to your apprentice yet. so you can kill the guards in close fighting. after killing all the guards, return to your apprentice, talk to him and save the hostages at ease cause you already killed the guards. i just did the trick and it worked.

once it comes up that youve he completed the full synch do you have to finish the mision or can you quit and it will still count?
