Nick and some friends head to the racetrack for the weekend to watch a car race. , when the terrifying accident flys into the audience at 180 mph. People will splatter and be ripped apart, one girl gets her head knocked off by a flying tire, massive explosions, and eventually the entire stadium collapses onto the rest of the audience. Then Nick discovers it was just a vision that's about to happen, and he gets himself and about 12 other people ejected from the stadium. But Death returns to finish off the survivors, with the freak accidents being more brutal than ever.

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave...escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination. The film marks the latest in the highly popular "Final Destination" series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.

"The Final Destination" series gets a kick-start with this fourth outing, headed up by the production team behind the second film -- director David R. Ellis and writer Eric Bress. The New Line franchise will be presented for the first time in 3-D with this installment focusing on a teenager that dodges a trip to the grave at a racetrack, only to find that death has a way of equaling the playing field after the fact. Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo, and Hayley Webb star in the sequel.

  • what I was saying is, if you liked the scenes where they die, how can you say its a bad movie?Thats the whole point of Final Destination.

Your comment about Disney movies was just pathetic by the way. Making up something about someone you know nothing about is very immature, it cant even be called a real insult.

  • 3D doesn't make for an awesome horror flick. Some horror movies froze me to my chair with little special effects. This is just another gimmick to get us to pay $10 for a crappy movie.

  • I hate it how movie sequels these days don't have a number next to them, just that retarded "3D" shit.

  • One of the most stupidest gory movies ever . I loved it :D

  • @ThePaddy1992 oh ya why dont get out and get killed by the spining things

  • This is funny with the 1911 effect.

  • @Gwarismetal who do you expect? Jack Black? Jim Carry?

  • ok im no genius but if the car was filling up with water why would n't you 1: get out via the door 2: the open sunroof or 3: at least try to break some glass?... some people!!

  • every single final destination movie has the exact same writing..

starts out innocent enough, things go wrong, people die.. main character find out the deaths were premonition then trys to save them or freak out preventing it.. then series of deaths and "horrors" happen, they all die in the end..

the ONLY reason i have any interest in these movies is to watch the creative ways in which they die... im not here for the acting, or the speical effects, or the writing, because they all suck

  • @WWEdivaaLover 3d horror movies are nothing new. In the 1950's they had Creature From the Black Lagoon, House of Wax, in the 1970's Frankenstein, in the 1980's Friday the 13th part III, recently My Bloody Valentine.

  • Was this the first movie to go 3D as a horror flick?

  • Awesome movie
