Now that's some serious chin music @ 5:50. I feel bit unlucky to not be born in this era of the bowler dominated cricket. This is the real cricket! The shorter formats of today are absolute rubbish and totally there to entertain the crowds and nothing more.

More like the archetypal, obstinate Northerner who was either too old or not skilful enough to use his bat to hit the ball rather than his body. Would have been spectacular if he'd hooked Holding for four or six.
As for Mr. Holding, that run up and action of his is enought to give one goose bumps. Truly a thing of beauty. Unless you're the batsman facing him of course.....

Facing that without a helmet, thigh & chest pads or arm guard = true courage! All that fuss about the bodyline series and here we see Holding basically trying to remove Brian Close's head.
