  • My son was watching Tom and Jerry this morning and I woke up hearing this song from the cartoon. It stuck in my head and I had to hunt it down. What a search, but I'm glad to have finally figured out the song name and finally found it here. Thanks.

  • this was in a tom&jerry cartoon

  • wonderful

  • @Godson19091 That would be "Mouse in Manhattan" —That remembrance and association of Louis Alter's 1928 composed melody notwithstanding, Manhattan Serenade is probably best known as the theme to the William Powell-Carole Lombard 1936 screwball comedy —"My Man Godfrey"...

  • This kicks ass

  • holy crap the singer is spot on amazing

  • "Johnny Fontaine will never get that part! It would make him a star!"

  • Amazing

  • That's funny. Who'd of thought such an easy going tune like this would end up in a Tom & Jerry cartoon and The Godfather! On one hand you've got this cartoon for kids, (so violent!), and on the other hand you have this movie... Whoops, sorry to steer away from the review... Great performance of the song. Beautiful singing!

  • @Godson19091 Yep, Tom and Jerry - Mouse in Manhattan
