Julian Lennon - Hey Jude

Paul McCartney dedicò a Julian Lennon la canzone del 1968 Hey Jude, inizialmente il testo composto da McCarteny diceva "Hey Jules", il soprannome, ma per motivi fonetici cambiò Jules in Jude.Fu scritta per confortarlo, nel momento del divorzio tra il padre e Cynthia Powell.

@james7167 Actually, as admitted by Julian himself, John neglected him horribly after he left them and favored his new family with Sean and Yoko. Julian only saw his father a handful of times after his parent's divorce up until John's death. John also did not mention nor leave anything for Julian in his will. Julian had to grow up middle class, working as a waiter to get by and also had to buy back mementos of his father that should have been bequeathed to him. :(

Paul wrote this song for Julian, The original title was "Hey Jules", and was intended to comfort Julian pain caused by the divorce of their parents.

Apparently it was a lullaby that Paul and John wrote for Julian. It is sad to see what happened to Julian because of Yoko Ono!
