In loving memory of Richard Hathaway a beloved professor who believed in progressive education and history. The video is from Vermont College graduation ceremony. It was used by artist Bridgette Mongeon to assist as inspiration and reference for the Dick Hathaway memorial sculpture. The project can be found at http://www.dickhathaway.blogspot.com

  • Thanks for posting this! We've added it to our Favorite's list - Richard Hathaway was also a faculty member at Goddard!

  • I had the privilege of meeting Dick in the early 90's. What a charming, intelligent and earnest soul.

    Peace

  • Do you know the book of Andreas Stein from lulu (dot) com: It's called "Grow your kids intelligent and rich". I can only recommend to read it if you want to improve the education of your child. I think it gives better support for parents than what you hear from many schools.

  • Thank you for sharing this particular video on YouTube. I've just blogged it up as an embed within a post posted to the Montpelier Matters blog as a follow-up to the previous one.
