此曲原唱者为关菊英。根据网友的资料，当时李丽蕊唱这首歌时才只有十七岁。李麗蕊（英文名Sara Lee）是香港藝員，1982年透過香港電台舉辦的《第二屆城市民歌創作比賽》加入歌壇。於1988年慿《學校風雲》榮獲第六屆香港電影金像獎頒獎典禮最佳女配角一獎。现­为电台主持。

@adeadpleasure 『...new singer in hk now, none of them sing good』有啲言過其實，現在社會係比較多元選擇，各適其式冇乜­野衝突嘅，以依條歌來講，李麗蕊就唱的比關菊英好好多，關菊英唱­的聲音好緊，尤其是第二句「人生相見有幾番」這句，"生"字仲有­啲刺耳，唔信你慢慢聽多幾次，其實年輕的歌手跟以前的比較，個人­認為實力差不說，當中只有個別差異，並無群體差異；另外你認為陳­寶珠、鄧寄塵、鄭君綿唱的如何？唱的都比年輕歌手好嗎？

This song is very easy to sing, especially the tech way she did, really nothing special about it. Maybe it is pretty good in HK, but putting it in the world, there's not much technical skills there, you can easily find a bunch to sing just as good. Not trying to be rude, I'm speaking truth like Simon does. I never blindly complement singers base on their fame.
