KILLER!! Originally from Michigan now living in Colorado.. there are only 4 things I miss.. family/friends.. bells beer.. red wings.. detroit music (especially some of my favorites Kid Rock, Goober and the Peas, Shady, Seger, Mowtown).. I have lived out here since 1997 so I get respect on a lot more now.. EXCEPT for Kid Rock.. I just don't get it.. the guy worked his ass off to make his career happen.. and for those of us who like him.. HE ROCKS!! WORD FELLOW MICH-I-GAN-DERS SAY YA TO DA U P EH

People take shots at him because they lack something in character. Kid Rock got where he is from NEVER GIVING UP. The people in those circles don't accept him because of his parents or money... He had to earn their respect. I'm not a hip-hop fan, and I like the guy because he will do ANYTHING that he likes - rap, rock, jam, classic...and he's f'ing GOOD at it.

why does it matter that his parents have money? who even cares about that people just bring that up because they have nothing else to talk about and our bored with their own lives, people have money who cares he still had to work very hard and make a name for himself, people do a lot of gossip and hating without even knowing him they just know what theyve "heard" and thats cool that your cousin knows him.

Yeah I live in michigan too and he is great theirs always going to be haters you just have to try and not pay attention to them because their stupid comments dont matter. If they cant recognize real music then the hell with them!
