@mrciaran96 In my opinion, he should now how to use the instrument, but in the show it gets really strange and even more with a pick... Howeva, u can see many bands that use Stingray for this genre, like Anti-Flag, MxPx and some others, it gives a more oldschool feeling to the song, the precision sounds just like a base bass, doesn't have its pernsonality... :) That's my pov

@DudeAndHisBass32 hey sorry for the late reply. Stingrays are great for certain styles of music (Funk, Hard Rock, RHCP etc.) but I think a precision bass has a better tone for a pop punk band like blink 182 :)
