  • The assault weapon ban expired, am I right?

  • yes, but irrelevant to shooting a machine gun. Machine guns are regulated by the national firearms act of 1934. The AWB of 1994 had no effect.

  • that has virtually no recoil

  • it has no recoil if you put your weight into it and keep a firm grip on the foreend.

I've seen some people go all over the place on FA.

  • Manchester Firing Line?

  • yep

  • This weapon is designed to fire supersonic rounds. The suppressor, as stated by HK, reduces the speed to subsonic levels..... Atleast that is what I recall from a bit ago.

  • Correct, the Clinton 1994 Assault weapons ban covered semi-automatic rifles with certain features, not fully automatic weapons.

  • The reason why this weapon is not fully suppressed is he is using super-sonic rounds in his MP5SD, in order to have suppressive fire you need sub-sonic rounds to keep the noice level under 40dB.

  • ohh your right.. sorry.. i didn't see them the first time... I've shot that same weapon before... lots of fun...

  • no ear protection?
