  • Most of the pictures and the progress they represent that are dated in the 80s were, I believe, under the Soviets. Certainly, the Russians promoted education and work for women, but at the price of religion. And occupation. The photos from the 60's are interesting. I lived there in the late 70s and it seemed much more primitive then that the pictures from the 60s indicate. What happened from 1960-1975?

  • Love the video, well done and the content was all true. BUT lets not fool our selves, less than one percent of Afghanistan was living that way. May be 5% of Kabul had this high standard of living. BTW progress is not measured with showing skin, hight of skirt and copying European clothing styles.

    I agree it was much better life than it is now.

  • What ever happened to this. Its like they went back in time and became primitive beasts, bound by stupid laws made to hold the women captive as an object rather than a being
