How a 6 inch gun was recovered from the shipwreck of the Steam Ship Laurentic in 2007 by a team of amateur divers from Downings, Co. Donegal, Ireland. The team, headed by Kevin McShane used a 15 Ton bag to lift the 10 ton artefact which is now proudly exhibited at Downings pier.

just back from the downings last week and was interested to find out a bit more about the gun at the harbour. thanks for the information it has satisfied my curiousity
