Flocks of wild black vultures have been making the Elmwood Park Zoo their home for several years. It is fascinating to watch them as they blatantly intrude in the official zoo inhabitants' territories and even assume they can share the Zoo animals' food and treats.
I have great respect for the Elmwood Park Zoo for allowing these wild birds, which actually outnumber the zoo animals now, to peacefully co-exist with the Zoo's animals. It is nice for the black vultures. And interacting with the black vultures is also a form of enrichment for many of the Zoo's animals.
I was wondering what those things were. O_o
