An easy way to get great nutrition. Doing your body a big favour. Avoid the packaged and processed garbage that North Americans eat most every day. The most obese continent in the world as a result. Given the toxic menu at Rotten Ronnie McDonald type establishments, they should be outlawed, really.
Before I became more informed about digestive timing and food combining, I would have issues with bananas causing digestive issues like acid and burning. After learning more, I never have issues with bananas. Checkout Dr. Douglas Graham's 80/10/10 book and try a mono-meal of bananas and analyze your biofeedback (what your body is telling you).
That's unusual. If you eat a banana by itself (i.e., nothing else before or after for 1 hour) does it still give you trouble? Have you tried organic bananas or bananas from different countries?
You could just use a bunch of fruit / berries in place of the banana. It won't have quite the same smooth consistency but it'll still be yummy.

@arji66 You don't have to restrict yourself to just 1. Beats the hell out of meat and dairy any day of the week.
