Doing something groovier and louder doesn't mean it gets more power than the original. David's better. By far.

She's talented but you cant compare her to Bowie. He writes the song and performs it better..

@tipsytinkerbell She changes the lyrics sometimes. I think it's because the note changes when you sing "green" versus "red."

wow... This really makes you appreciate David Bowie ten fold, thanks to Tina Turner, I now realize that it takes ONE HELL of a lot of talent to sing good, and Tina is missing that talent... Fuck, she even screwed up, its "See these Eyes so Green" first. Red is later.

hmm I'm thinkin TALENT must have something to do with the fact that she's labelled THE QUEEN & breaks world records with her tours for the highest concert attendance for a female performer....I'm sure even higher than Bowie's audiences. I love Bowie don't get me wrong but to call Tina Turner 'untalented' is seriously laughable. Maybe u can forgive her for changing the lyrics too lol

Right on Tipsy, she is pristine....who cares about the eye color lol? Geez, she owns that tune and can change whatever she wants; it aint what she says, its the way she says it, eh... Its a great clip and thanks for posting. An ex-Ikette, Vanetta Fields is or was based here in Melbourne Aust. Fields also sang on the Stones "Exile on Main St"

Eye colour is very important u know ;) But each to their own re the 'talent' thing - although I know Bowie himself would give anyone a good spanking for saying Tina's not talented but then.....being spanked by Dave might not be such a bad thing hehee ;)
