The water is HORRIBLY polluted. The air is filthy, and the food is risky. This is the hepatitis capital of the world. As with most 3rd world and developingh countries, it's lack of regulation makes it vastly more contaminated and polluted than the US, wich is remarkably clean. You can jog in Manhattan during rush hour. Try walking anywhere in Bangkok at any time and see how you handle the polluted air. Save your anti-Americanism for those who don't know better.

the water in those canals is straight unadulterated sewage. amazing to see idiot tourist not realizing that they're immersing themselves in this broth of potential disease while they're looking for some "excitng" junk shopping
