but everyone knows this... i've been staunchly atheist sinc age 7, having decided all the morales in the bible stories had NOTHING to do with the stories themselves - meaning I could not believe in god, and still learn all their morales, if they were indeed the best ones..

I commend you for showing the real teachings of the "religion of peace": a violent, hateful, totalitarian religion that shows contempt for the humans race in every verse

However, I do wonder if you have looked at christianity's teachings.

Particularly those in the old testament rival the qur'an's drivel in terms of violence and totalitarianism.

And while it is true that most of the violent conflicts going on today involve islam, in the dark ages christianity was by far the most violent religion.
