  • That's my friend's dad in the video(not the cameraman)

  • Makes me sick...lived in PF from 1952-2002 and saw it right from its beginnings to its very sad, sad end. Glad I no longer live there as it is no longer the "Camelot" it once was....and to watch it slip further down hill is hard. The town was all about the first people who came with bright and new ideas. Once that group of people moved on, or died it was the end. After 50 years in the town I gave up....I no longer want to look back.

  • my Dad who was a marketing genius known nationally , he had been marketing developer to some well known properties (such as Harbor Point in Chicago) he brought in a huge developer willing to spend tons of money to put shops into the Plaza and the PF board said no and sat on their butts. Dad couldn't believe it having lived in PF since 1958 and having to watch it all die when it didn't need to. Dad and Mom moved out after that because they knew it was going to continue to go downhill. so sad

  • and now in 2011..Marshall Fields is gone! There are these stupid row houses standing in what once was the plaza parking lots. It looks so odd and out of place

  • Lost my virginity in the Goldblatts parking lot, 1973.

  • Westwood Jr High, lived on W. Rocket Circle

  • Ha, this is so weird. My dayd graduated from east in 78 and now i'm going there.

  • Cool, so you probably hung at Central Park? I was hanging with the Somanauk crowd...

Who did this video anyway, do you know?

  • Went to Westwood Jr. High. Lived on 282 Rich Rd.
