Pentatonic

On a cold winter morning, four lonely friends rode Line 7 of the New York City Subway towards Flushing and their habitual karaoke spot at DIY. At this point, the four simultaneously sighed towards the heavens as they realized these karaoke trips were neither cost effective nor capable of quenching their thirst for song. From thus was born Pentatonic
Pentatonic was officially founded in the fall of 2009 and is Yales premier Chinese-singing a cappella choir. The group was born through the belief that nothing surpasses the joy of being able to create music with friends. While its members range from Economics majors to Architecture majors, they all gathered together through their love of Chinese pop and their desire to share that music with the community.
