I think it must have been frustrating to box Tyson. His head movement is phenomenal. The way he bobs & weaves and slips punches is much more entertaining than his big shots. You can get any big cat off the street and he can throw a big punch. But Tyson was unbelievable
at making you miss.
I wish Mike would get into coaching. I know he says he will never get back in the ring and I understand and respect that. But, he has so much knowlege of this sport, it's a shame he doesn't teach.

@kanguesso I think that Smith dude is just thrash, he's not tough at all. Tyson barely got any clean punches in and his face swelled up anyway.
Also, Smith fights like a bitch. I can imagine him fighting against everyone like that, which makes it only natural that people have trouble knocking him down.

Bone Crusher Smith is one of the toughest SOBs in Boxing history. He took Tyson's best punches and smiled at him and he almost got Tyson at the very end. Smith had only been knocked down ONCE in his career when he fought Tyson and you can see how tough the man was because Tyson was not able to knock him down once. You put a young Bone Crusher smith in there and Tyson would have huge problems.

a young james smith vs tyson would have been golden stuff

Smith did an oustanding fight takinc consideration 2 things: Tyson was on his prime, and 13 years younger than him. Smith was showing better manners and way much more experience. Tyson was just brute force and needed a lot to learn yet. Hej: I love watching Tyson fights. Is not this one one of his best.... at all..

lol @ 7:35
what i loved most about Tyson was his fearlessness! In every fight he had he never took 1 step backwards he was always the instigator! and to think he was using this style knowing he's younger than his opponents ! what a legend!

Tyson was definately one of the most entertaining fighters to watch. His look...his speed....his powerful knockout punch.....and his ability to defend himself Fighters like him made the sport great. Too bad he let himself to to pot.
