Minimally Speaking - Highland 2006

is it just me... or are their feet not in time with the Major's hands?

you need to learn about video and audio mastering and how they sometimes get out of synch when mastered. And out of synch especially happens when you post videos on line. The sound isn't in synch with the picture from the very beginning.

i understand video mastering, my question has nothing to do with audio, it is all visual, so any sort of synching problems would not affect the video, unless the Drum Major and the band were shot on two seperate cameras. Sorry if there was some confusion.

Well sound and sight are different points in time. Remember you're taught that in marching band

The Band sounded Fine, as long as their in time with each other who cares what the Drum Major is doing. Guard work needed more advanced vocabulary in the 1st and 3rd movement. I only saw two Flag tosses the entire show by two members. Dance work was basic and Rifle work was minimalistic, even past the point of the show. The 2nd movement though was AMAZING swing Flag work. Battery work was overstressed in 3rd movement but good basic sound. Not bad, just not the most advanced drill. Good Job.

we are doing this show, and good job on the opener it was pretty cool, but needs a little work tempo issues and wrong note being played, battery needs some cleaning to do( the feature doesn't really go that good for this peice) but overally really good

ehhh it was a great show but some of the added things did not fit, like the little drum break. great beginning. towards the end it was getting boring to watch. honestly. but great job!

Several individual mistakes, but overall okay. But, the whole running/dancing thing doesn't fit with this piece, and looks really stupid.

@PainWds This isn't a professional video and the microphone and camera are quite a distance from the band so what you hear in the video has an obvious delay from what you're actually seeing.

The low brass section is carrying this band, whip the sopranos in shape and I can see a BOA contender in this group.
