Lenovo will enter the touchscreen smartphone arena by using Google's Android and with a very iPhone-like appearance.
The device is codenamed oPhone and set to be released on China Mobile between February and March of 2009.
The OPhone has been designed to comply with Chine Mobiles Open Mobile System which combines Android with China Mobiles homegrown TD-SCDMA 3G network, which basically means the Lenovo OPhone will not be seen outside China.

@do0oda03 look @ the back of an iphone......desigend by apple in california/assembled in CHINA....they call it ophone because ummm in german we would say:"mit den grossen hunden pissen wollen aber das bein nicht hochbekommen" and in general... i dont like china...since ive been living there....

It's an Android - localized for the Chinese market. Very cool. It can use all the Android applications.
