ok watch this trailer with your eyes closed and then tell me you can tell its a period film... seriously if they hadn't had the characters in period dress then maybe it might have worked as a modern retelling of the story. but this didn't sound anything like a period film. I mean who would refer to an apocalypse in the 17th century when talking about a battle to save the king of france?
