Miniature EMP Generator (Electro Magnetic Pulse Generator)

It is almost complete (just missing one transistor, thats why three wires are hooked up to nothing right now). It will create a nice sine wave pulse, using the timer as it should to create the pulse in EMP.

the picture there gives you a good start for a timer, using the equation there you can set the interval. That timer there in particular will repeat as well which is what the emp is based off of. Hope that is helpful for you.

Well this one in particular doesn't have a huge range but an emp would just short out any microchip components, so it'd permanently ruin whatever it was used on

@2612Alessio EMP is Electro Magnetic Pulser. It creates pulses of high-powered magnetic field which can fry delicate silicone chips. All you need to do is get a high power supply (like 10KV) and hook them up to a coil. That will create a good enough magnetic field.

Im thinking of building 1 using Flyback transformer but who knows :P
