1973 VW Volkswagen "Thing"

Classic 1973 VW "THING" Type 181
This vehicle is in very good condition, it runs well and is fun to drive.

The original interior front seats with no tears or abnormal wear. We have placed removable seat covers on the front bucket seats.

The back bench seat is original and in good condtion, but has 1 tear and some wear spots (It's over 35 years old). Back seat back rest was replaced in 1982 and is in great condition.

The exterior has no rust, but it has a small dent on front right and minor scratches that were touched-up.
Overall straight body panels. This Thing would is ready for a new coat of paint to make it near perfect.

Side windows are removable and come with vinyl carrying case.

Gas Heater. Lots of new and spare parts.

New engine installed has ONLY 5,000 Miles on it and new gas tank installed in 2006.

This vehicle is driven on weekends or special occasions, and we have been parking it in the garage when not in use. We have owned this "THING" since 1982.
