would it be more or less affective to use flex mode and physically line up all the transient markers? because thats what i have been doing.

separate the sections you want to align onto another track. or you could cycle the part of the track you want to bounce, solo the track and bounce from file menu. then import the bounced audio onto a new track and align it to the area you cycled.

Vocalign takes the money used of recording backing vocals and makes it sound like a simple pitch-shifted mix.... way 2 g0....

Yo man, if you have EQ/COMP/FX on the dub track and you bounce it in place, you will get the EQ/COMP/FX bounced along with the vocalign. There's no way to just print the vocalign without the others unless you get rid of them... Just sayin'. You have to have a clear channel strip like you have on there, but I rarely ever have it like that.
