In Christmas 1998, 21-year-old mother of two Lynsey Wilson went missing without a trace. Her husband Mitchell Quy quickly became the prime suspect, after he claimed that she had walked out on him. But unlike any murder suspect before him, Quy went to extraordinary lengths to use the media in order to stay out of jail. He taunted police and even allowed a documentary crew to follow him as he spun his web of lies. Almost 10 years on, we revisit the case, and find out how the police finally managed to convict Lynsey's killer.

Did I miss something? Why, again, didn't her parents/other family/friends report her missing? Why did it take a social worker to report her missing? Now I don't think the family is involved in her demise at all; I just don't understand why they didn't report her missing sooner.

This story really upsets me. Mitchell is not that unique. There are plenty guys like this out there. They may not murder. But they control, hit and abuse their 'partners' in such a cunning way it's hard for them to leave!

It's tragic how these lives were completely screwed up.Quy doesn't appear to be your usual brain dead moron and possibly if he had grown up in a different environment would have been a successful well liked character.Unfortunately due to the hand of cards he was dealt from birth every direction was the wrong one and culminated in this poor girl losing her like.What happened to her was a direct result of Quys bad upbringing.His social circle of other delinquents wouldn't have helped either.
