But, an assassination researcher who is also a musician, discovered a Dallas police radio transmission made by Dallas County Sheriff Bill Decker over a minute after the shooting, that at the same time the supposed "gunshots" are occurring on the dictabelt, proving that this section of the recording that's supposed to contain shots is too late for them to be shots.
Acoustics experts say they discovered shots which are audible as pops and clicks.
They can tell the difference because pops and clicks from static and other causes don't have echoes, but shots do (especially in an area like Dealey Plaza).
This acoustic evidence was presented to the House Select Committee on Assasinations in the 1970s and caused them to decide, with a 95% probability, that 4 shots had been fired, and one of them from the area known as "the Grassy Knoll".
