@antoinetrompette - The piece isn't by Bach - it is Giambattista Martini's Toccata, originally for solo organ, transcribed for trumpet and organ by Marie Claire Alain.
Once, in the mid-seventies, I had the pleasure of hearing Maurice Andre and Pierre Cochereau in the old church in Nice. That was fantastic, - and afterwards, Cochereau improvised an organ fantasy of 30 min. duration!!!
It's definitely Maurice André! I have been watching and listening to him since nearly 40 years, also seen him several times on stage and have all his records. No doubt, it's him. As always, just great:-)
To all of you André's fans i can assure that it is him Maybe it's and old tape probably but it's still as great as it was 30 years ago when i listen to it for the first time. The sound difference can be related to multiple factors ... the place it was played in, the recording ... It is Maurice André
это не Морис Андре(it is not Maurice!!)

OK - you have my sympathies... ;)
But even if you don't play a proper instrument ;), you can develop that sense just by listening to different recordings. Try that!
