#909 Works Evo - Targa 2008 Leg 2 - Stage 2 (Lewisporte)

In-car footage from car #909 WORKS/Evolved Performance Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RS at Targa Newfoundland 2008. This is Leg 2, Stage 2 (Lewisporte). Unfortunately, this was our last stage of the event. We damaged our bottom end bearings on this stage and did not have a spare motor to put in the car. We were losing power throughout the stage, and if you pay attention to my head-up display you can see the problem get bad enough that the EGT goes off the scale (900 degrees celsius) while I try to drive through the problem.

How did you mount your camera and which camera are you using (lipstick / Tape / Solid state) I have an Evo that I take to track days often and all my mounts vibrate so violently I can't watch them in replay...Great Video...Good luck this year...car looks much stronger than last year..keep the videos coming...
