Thank you for this memory. One of the most perfect pieces of music in R & B history. It "still" feels good, just as it did then. Thank you, thank you........thank you. Thumbs up x infinity.

@OGSINBAD22 Nice!!! Very nice...Thank you so much for the insight...I didn't know that much about Richard Heath...thanks again!!!

@shydmples That is Richard Heath singing the lead. Richard is probably one of the most talented people you'll ever meet; he is an exceptionally nice person. I have known Richard since 1971. We attended the same high school (Morningside High School in Inglewood, CA). Besides being a talented musician (played percussions on Michael Jackson's OFF THE WALL album), Richard was a supreme martial artist - one of the best black belts in California when he was just 16 years of age. FYI...
I love this song, one of those great blue lights in the basement cuts. I remember going to a bull roast in Baltimore with my dearest beloved and we danced to this song. Isn't it wonderful when your guy sings to you softly in your ear and he actually knows the words to the song!!!! Thanks for posting this song.

Man you on a role ain't you? Yeah I used to jam this whole album. Each cut was a jam. There was one if I'm not mistaken called THIS HAD TO BE. Real funky bass playin and had Michael on background vocals.....Michael Jackson for those who might not know who I'm referring to.

Yeah,I love this album too!!! This was the time when Quincy was in the zone!!! Everything he touched was "Platinum"!! Good move on his part to bring Rod Temperton on board as one of the writers also!!
