As I had many people asking me lots of questions about my hair and how I manage and take care of it after my first afro video, I thought I may aswel give people a helping hand and share my afro hair care tips and advice. So many people with afro hair do not know how to take care of it properly; and that includes detangling and combing their hair. So I thought I would start off with showing people because if your combing/detangling hair the wrong way it can cause great damage! In my next video I will be telling you what ingredients to avoid in hair products and why, and I will also be exposing some products that are so bad for your hair which pop up time and time again in afro hair magazines. This video has 3 parts!

I tthought your suppose to comb natural hair wet...not dry? I'm new at this, but that's what every vid I've watched say. As well,..to start at the ends when combing/detangling. I guess it's by choice and it depends on your hair. Thanks for the product review also. :)

Us ladies with a tight curl pattern can't start the detangling process at the roots, the comb will just get stuck as all the curls bunch together, but its still a great vid for looser curls.

Well it seems to work for me, its much more hard work starting at the ends in my opinion and i can get away with it because my hair is not over thick. You saw the end result and you could see my method works. It REALLY DOES NOT MATTER, AS LONG AS YOU ARE BEING GENTLE WITH YOUR HAIR!
