Nice words! Although sometimes not all the evidence gets delivered and who does most of the media belong too ask yourself that question... I'm not gonna start calling names but look it up on Google do the work and you will be surprised...

I do not think that CNN or the BBC are planning thier news so that they can control people, but each story carries the bias of the person presenting it.

Where you stand depends on where you sit.

When I saw the conflict on TV I told me friends watch for the media warfare out... each country is going to be claiming and saying what bargain is best for them. Dont trust TV in general its made to control the masses TV, Radio, Boooks etc.. read what is more independent... say forums...

Thanks for defending us, we focus much on news from outside of the United States, and when the news does cover key events around the world, it is often short or does not provide the historical context.

At the same time, as everyone says that the media in the United States is not to be trusted, it is hard to trust the Russian media or the Georgian media.

If it is true that thousands of civilians were targeted and killed by the Georgians, then we (The U.S.) of course should not support Georgia.

I watched all sides of news on Georgia last few days, also reading many sources. Then I came across pages 276 & 277 of "And Still They Fly" by Guido Moosbrugger (Steelmark, 2nd Edition copyright 2004) of which a 2001 ed. exists. Interesting!!! The excerpt is posted on Michael Horn's 'TheyFly' site now. I lived in Tbilisi for a year, and received and studied the above mentioned book, among others, while I was there.
