some of these people here are still stuck in the 40's where women stayed home and cooked. 2 of my flight instructors were female and one was a 90 POUNDER while teaching me on a multiengine aircraft. some of the best co pilots i ever been with are women. so smell the coffee it's its 2009.

@maldmc2 As much as I prefer The Blue Angels, this is one area that The Thunderbirds have them beat; The Blue Angels have yet to have a female pilot on their team.

in my opinion this season was Aviation History in motion. USAF Thunderbirds Lead solo #5American woman figter pilot, oposing solo #6 African American man fighter pilot.the 2nd time i saw the team i had to fight back a joyful emotion. Things are in place for one to fail, they truly are the best of the Best.

@colinjd123 There are a lot of operational checks that have to be done. If any of the hydraulic systems is low on fluid, they have to hook up and service it down at End Of Runway with engines still running, then check it again. These checks have to be made with engine running.
