Easter was a glorious festival as the new trumpet on this organ sounded for the first time! Introit Anthem (Hallelujah! Christ Arose! - Lowry) and Processional "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" Easter 2009, Church of the Palms, Delray Beach FL, featuring the newly installed trompette en chamade rank of pipes and pianist Elaine Reinhardt. The trumpet rank was donated to the church by Robert Hebble who dedicated the rank to Edward Krynicki (see video of dedication ceremony on this site at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KxsJpoUnVE). The trumpet rank was installed by John McGovern and Edward Krynicki. Video by John McGovern

  • How much wind pressure is the en chamade on?

  • @samc726 4.5 inches. Thanks for visiting and asking.

  • @churchofthepalmsdel - thats almost the wind pressure for a principal stop or string.

  • @samc726 De gustibus ... non disputandum est. It is an accoustical necessity given the factors of architecture and absorption operant in this situation.

  • Jack Clonninger, Organist, writes from Jupiter:

Ed did a marvelous job, your trumpets en chamade are spectacular, and all I can say about the Widor Toccata is BRAVO!!!! The choir sounds great, Bob Hebble was good to hear, and that pianist ... she was excellent too. A very nice job capturing it all on video ... I liked the way you zoomed in on the trumpets while Ed was playing them. Thanks very much for the Easter greeting ... a belated Happy Easter to you all too!

  • A great singing congregation! Listen to that choir and congregation literally sore "above it all" especially on the last stanza. Great job!

  • Beautiful trumpet! Great Choir and a real singing congregation! Wonderful!!!

  • Organsk8er could not have said it better.... "to hear the organ just ROARING and the congregation singing above it!" Great job... Church of the Palms and your talented director Ed Krynicki

  • @Organsk8er Thanks very much for visiting. Glad you enjoyed our celebration. Come again!

  • Wow...wonderful choir...the pianist was great, but it's even better to hear the organ just ROARING and the congregation singing above it! Wonderful!

  • Who could not like this? SG... would be my guess.
