This is one game that proves that review sites are to be taken with a grain of salt. This is seriously one of the best games out there period, it is pure action, no time wasted on story or other meaningless bullshit. Ignore reviews since they cater to the interests of large publishers anyways.

i got this game for 13 bucks on steam the other day, and it kicks major ass! i liked it so much i got serious sam gold and serious sam 2 so i can play through the whole series. Best fps in the past few years by a longshot! tragically underrated game here.

Croteam ever disapoints me, they take time to release a good game, expirament of things, the gba serious sam was ok, wasn't good but they tryed, but when i saw serious sam 3, my sack just droped a full 3 inchs, classic fps at its finest, it starts off slow but then it actualy gets more old school and feels like serious sam over time, 3D Realm,s took 12 years t bring out the next duke nukem game and we all knew it was going to suck when 3D Realm shut down, serious sam will always be my favorate

@kea919306 Actually, enemy "placement" (really just where they spawn) do matter quite a lot in Sam as well. Serious difficulty showcases some very clever encounter design in addition to sheer numbers.

Actually, most of Duke's one liners are original, only some of them are ripped off (The "Kill you last" and "porkchop sandwiches" lines) but Sam's one liners, I don't know, his seem so bad....so bad their good that is.....which is exactly what Duke's one liners are like. Then again, I don't care.
