I feel a brief explanation of pre decimal british currency might be in order Prior to 1970 a Pound £ contained 20 shillings. Each shilling contained 12 pence so that made 240 pence to each pound or "quid". A ten shilling note or ten bob was of course half of a pound or quid and half of a ten bob, predicably was five shillings or "a dollar"! half a dollar was two and sixpence therefor six and eight was one third of a quid ! Do you all follow? We resisted decimalisation because it was too complex !

Translations are available from me. Priced mosr reasonably at 6/8d which as it happens is exactly one third of an english pound or to put it another way $350 american. Should this prove expensive I am prepared to accept Beaver pelts as payment . Two or three should suffuce ... snort snort !
