2001 Mitsubishi Montero AC. I have had to replace the AC belt 6 times in the last 3 years. I think I am finally witnessing why.

  • It was the condenser fan. It cools the liquid/gas and lowers the pressures. The fan wasn't coming on or coming on late. Wired so it's always on when AC is on.

  • put gauges on it. seems the pressures are going through the roof because the fan isn't coming on when it should

  • fixed it, gummed up condenser.
