December 30th, 2007. Dave McFarlane and I take a KLR up Fir Mountain. It was packed snow; a steep ascent but we made it to the top of the ridge (a climb from 800' to about 2000' in about a mile) and then dropped back down through the woods on Swyers Drive. The bike has Kenda K270 dualsport treads, they have been on the rig since the BlackDog Rally last July. You can see us fishtail up the steeper sections-Dave moved up over the back of the bike to give us more traction at the back wheel.
