Right now the Lockitron base station needs a wired ethernet connection to be plugged into (but that talks wirelessly to the door). If you only have Wifi, you can get a Wifi-to-Ethernet bridge to solve this.

Normally if you lost your keys and phone, you would borrow your friend's phone to call the locksmith. With Lockitron, you can borrow your friend's phone to unlock the door.
