Substitute teacher Jim Piculas was fired from his teaching job at Rushe Middle School in Land O' Lakes. He was not fired for showing up in class intoxicated; he was not fired for boinking the home economics teacher under her table between classes; he was not fired for smoking in the boy's room.

  • I go too Rushe. We also had a drunk teacher. Look it up, Rushe Drunk teacher..

  • @KkHeartsNSN97 ; Eak! I just looked it up. Not only was she drunk at school, but she was drunk at her previous school! I feel sorry for her, but good grief---- she needs help and I hope she got it.

  • GAWD!! We can't get decent teachers in this state as it is, our school system is so pathetic. And a simple slight-of-hand magic trick, a simple few seconds of entertainment that ANY amateur magician can perfom is declared "wizardry" and a teacher gets fired?? Unbelievable...

*Moosie leaves the room, shaking his head*

  • "Unbelievable..."

Alas, I believe it. Many people in the USA still live in the 13th century.

  • so what was the trick? What happened to deserve to get fired?

  • "so what was the trick? What happened to deserve to get fired?"

The trick was to make a tooth pick "disappear" and then "reappear." Some people's thumbs have enough skin folding to pinch a tooth pick behind the thumb.

And they all seem to live in Florida. Sigh...

  • I moved to Florida from another state and it's situations like this that make me glad I did not graduate or even attend school here! I am actually glad I live in Orlando and not in the town this happened in!
