Slow and simple version of Red Haired Boy on mandolin in the key of A. "A Part" played through twice, then "B Part" twice -- like the song is usually played. At the end I play the A and B parts each once at a faster tempo so you can hear how that sounds. Note that I am only a beginner mandolin player and mostly made this video so I can remember what I learned today! Maybe it will help someone else too?

  • Breedloves are great instruments.

  • WHAT IS THE LESSON IN THIS ? O_O

  • Good lesson. You really made it simple in the limited time available. I learned a different version of this tune from another post. It's an awesome starter tune and once learned I started learning variations which featured different technique. Really enjoyed yours.

  • This will be one of the first tunes I tackle once I pick up my mandolin this week. Great job. Thanks :D

  • Thanks for the lesson. great pace your going at.

  • I could have used this lesson 2 weeks ago, but I still like it thanks for sharing.

    Peace!
