@fireguy450 Lots of light to keep from from spawning too close, since harmful mobs will generally only spawn on dark tiles. You can try walls around your perimeter, and pits with lava or cactus pieces in the bottom to trap and kill them before they get too close to the house (just make sure you don't fall in yourself!)
