My Dr's and support workers have all wriiten in support of a home visit, yet I am penalized??

@ClaireWill71uk - hmm strange cos they send something to your GP who signs it too declare that your unfit to travel to them ... so realistically they should have come to you OR at least told you the procedure as they did with me (i.e. Dr signs form)

My Dr and OT have comfirmed the need for a home visit. So ATOS are scheduling a home visit ... which they say will take several months...so I am on ESA flat rate less £12 per week for socia/crisisl fund loans..until they can see me.

- you get it all back dated if your awarded... I got the 5 weeks backdated, im sure you only get it from the day of the medical onwards too... not from the start of the claim... claim for DLA while your waiting :)

@ClaireWill71uk ...i forgot too add - guess who's been summoned to another medical.... yes thats right ME!! - well I got the ESA50 form so i will be geting the letter and phone call soon - it has been 1 year since last one so i suppose its fair but i have seen MANY people go for medicals and get letter to go for another just weeks later - one guy came home from medical to find letter for next one on floor haha joke man

I have Asperger's Syndrome, and have first hand experience of ATOS, almost 8 hours of waiting on the phone to re-schedule my appointment to a home assessment. I was told today that becase I missed my appointment because I am agrophobic, cannot handle busy, or crowded places my benefits would be stopped. I cannot even attend my daughters 18th birthday party tonight.. how am I a fake or how do I stand a chance against ATOS/DWP

I tried to avoid going for Anxiety during chemo and they said "go or benefits will be stopped" - what happened to your home visit? im same as you with going places but I still forced myself to go and took a sports bag full to brim of medication and got really upset as I went into detail about my past... got awarded SUPPORT GROUP (highest one)

Atos are terrible, my partner was claiming and cannot travel far alone, we couldn't attend an appointment due to my mother passing away and the ESA was stopped, it has taken us over two years and this week she has been diagnosed with ME, we were told we'd have to live on crisis loans for up to three months until she could get another appointment from ATOS. They don't DESERVE to work in the public sector, and I honestly wouldn't piss on anyone from either ATOS of DWP if I saw them on fire!!!

Im a schizophrenic with auditory & visual hallucinations anxiety & severe agoraphobia Im unable to look in mirrors go out in the day use a bath,I dig imaginary items(machine guns,wires)from under my skin & pull out my toenails with pliers & much worse,My meds help me function in a manner but I cant use machinery or drive,I also have physical disability,a quarter of my pelvis is missing,if my DLA etc is stopped i`ll just kill my self,I think thats what the public wants if you call me a scrounger

Mines on Friday 7th Jan 2011, nice way to start the new year, I've got so many mental problems, I forgot half of them, I know I will break down & panic so much they will want to get rid of me like last time lol

The doctor asked me if I've been sectioned & cancelled my interview, my benifits rocketed after lol X

you have to lie to go onto jsa saying your fit to work when your not,after my 2nd appeal thats what i did as i was sick of the way you have to send sick notes every month while on appeal and then they cut your money every so often saying sick note not recieved.but beware it takes 6 wks+to get money from jsa when moving from esa just another torment for the sick.
