Trailer for a thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions.

The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.

The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy.

  • @koertje If you look at th whole world, there are problems that come from all sorts of people. Religion is not and should not be a criteria for those who do commit crimes.

Its the upbringing, friends, habits and things like that that define a criminal.

nothing in the Quran is about hatred, if you actually take the time to read it rather than listen to zionest agendas that talk about it. As in the other holy books, the Qurans testaments are to not kill.

Im proud to be a Muslim, you should too

  • @rayyank Over here in holland most crime comes from man from islam countries.

They are 5 % of the population, but bring 60% of the crimes.

A few years ago a famous dutch filmmaker was slaughtered by a muslim, who said he had to do it by the quran. So scientists studied the quran and found that 70 % of the quran is about hatred and agression.

Many muslims are a bit ashamed, but others find inspiration in the quran.

Does muslims not bring problems in Canada?

  • @koertje you come across as very ignorant if you think that the Quran, a holy book as is the Torah, the Talmud and the Bible teach of violence and war. The Quran is peaceful and is a representation of God's words and his will. Moses, Jesus and Mohammad are under the same religion, the total obedience of God's will. Disrespecting one of them or their holy books is an insult to all of them.

Get an education and come back

  • No wonder Palestines get trouble with their neighbours when they have leaders like Yasser Arafat and Hamas and look for inspiration in the Quran, the book full of hatred against others.

  • @BenJB07

so ur saying the law of TALMUD is the real law, and is makng differece of opinion between ordinary ppl and zionist.pls wake up, even jews of europe and us are now taking distance from u.

to understan these ppl pls read TALMUD, and PROTOCOLS OF ELDERS OF ZION.

  • @rrgroovy you're right, silence is not an option. silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented...this is why i get frustrated with so called impartial or neutral ppl...neautrality helps the opressor, we must always take sides.

    Free Palestine :)

  • The Palestinian narrative has not been given an accurate context in the media. This film hopes to address this imbalance framing the conflict in a different context.

    Please watch v=pXTws3GKgyU

  • Please send this video to all of your friends. The people of Gaza are being denied all of the basic goods and materials to earn a living to support their wives and children.
