Her music is really great.
I come from Germany und have visited the monastery she founded a few times now.
There are still many nuns there who live by her rules and those of Benedic of nursia.
Their prayers for the day are always in gregorian chant. 6 Times a day. It's really wonderful to listen to them sing. They have such beautyful voices. Especially Sister Lydia.

This was very beautiful. I never heard this song and or the history, until I took a college music class. It's too bad the rest of society is injected with liberal atheist propaganda to even acknowledge religion, history, and or art at the public education level. Kids know who and what "fitie cent" sings about, but would they be taught this?

A very inspiring person. One of the most intruiging medieval minds. A heroine, in my book.

to summa theologica from poor dis/mis/unbeliever: To whom would you adscribe all the pain and cruelty that far surpasses the beauty etc. that exists in the world? Are they not all the work of the Supreme Maker?

sounds like the opposite to atheism, isn't it?

Cool. I'm a omnitheist.

Ideas, when became ideologies, are dangerous.
Of course no idea can live in its own, it needs our minds to live.
Ideas are seeds, they need soils to develope real plants.
I am an atheist, I have come to realize this through the gospel.

simplemente sublime, una de las formas de tener contacto con Dios, sobre todo para quién canta

I didn't know that, because I haven't seen that movie.
