Pictures from the past & present of this lovely town. I dedicate this video to my mother & father. Thanks to them, I had a very happy childhood at Birchington. The music was one of my father's favourites; Ken Dodd's "Happiness". (No.1 in 1965)

Reminds me of the yearly books that are brought out of Birchington. Was hoping to see a picture of one of my 3 shops that have been there since we started in 2006, but no :( Other than that nice vid and well done

It was nice to see the way it used to be. I love the place. I have been going there since 1971. Two of my grandparents and one of my great aunts lived in Cunningham Crescent.

thank you for takeing me back, i was born an bread in (birch) and went to park lane school and king ethelberts. Still have family down there,in devon gardens,dont like the way it has changed tho.but saddly thats the way life goes. thak you again. O BYE THE WAY DO YOU STILL LIVE THEIR???
