Nothing special...just getting familiar with Magic Lantern and the T2i pulling focus. Magic Lantern installed on the T2i is a must for film makers. This video was shot with the kit lens...at a Qscale setting of -14. Color graded to give it a film look. More lenses and accessories to come which will make the visuals better. I'm learning still...so bare with your boy!

  • @TheElvinVIDEO I use Sony Vegas with magic bullet mojo

  • what kinda sd card do you use?

  • @CannibalProductionz On this video..it was an ADATA 16gb card.

  • @deadcell1 Your right. Now one thing that you want to keep in mind that a higher ISO will make it have an error. Having a faster lens like the 50 1.8 will allow you to use a lower ISO and higher Bit Rate. Your shutter you want to keep double your frame per second. 24fps = 1/50 on shutter, etc. hope that helps.

  • I just download ML can you tell me how to set the qscale?

  • @deadcell1 with the new release..I think you can only change the CBR. I could be wrong.

  • what is Q SCALE?

  • @deadcell1 in (trashcan) menue, head over to movie , then down to bitrate and press the q button (the one under the AV button .. then enable VBR and set qscale :) remember to take low iso and 24-25 fps, otherwhise you need a very fucking fast card :)

  • nice vid!!!

  • @kkeevv83 if you want to keep that shallow depth of field at 1.8 and shoot outside then you need a ND filter for your lens. You can get the kind that lets you slide the glass in front of the lens so you can stack up to three, letting you gradually add darkness to your lens. Hope that helps, just google: cokin nd filters

  • @yungsonny2700, Stunning shots, I have a T3i/600d, struggling with getting proper exposure, Im shooting at 1080p/24fps with a 50mm F1.8, i want to keep the apeture @1.8 for shallow DOF, but then i have to choose a "very high" shutter speed(SP) ideally i was told keep the SP @ 1/50th to mimic film. but the image is overexposed(when outside), ISO is set to the lowest, and I'm shooting outdoors on a sunny day. Am I missing something, PS I'm a newbie. Thanks.

  • @yungsonny2700 what sd class?

  • r u use after effects for color grading ?
