@dgenerated Also, even if Jerry reused old Kryst songs or unreleased Misfits '95 songs, I don't think there would be any kind of lawsuit unless he uses direct recordings from former band members without some kind of acknowledgement or royalty payment.

@dgenerated I don't know how much of the old material he's going to reuse, but there is a new album coming soon. It's called The Devil's Rain. It's going to be out sometime in 2011. They finished recording and mastering everything. Jerry has been letting selected groups of people listen to the entire album after shows. From what I've heard other people say who've claimed to have heard the new album, they never mentioned anything about recycled material.

@JonErich I have a feeling he IS doing something with them..I just feel a LAWSUIT coming on here!..I am EXTREMELY curious about their supposed "new album"! I have a feeling good old Jerry is gonna dig into the past of Kryst/these unreleased/unfinished songs and borrow a few of them or in the least snag some riffs/ideas! Eh..I wish he'd just bite the damn bullet and call Doyle, Mike and Chud and put together a band a LOT of us want to see!..I for one was lucky enough to see the 90's Misfits live

@thorne138 The Misfits. While they were writing songs for American Psycho, they had written many songs that were never released or played live. Some of these songs like Angel Baby and Death of a Fallen Angel were recorded without any lyrics and perhaps other never made it out of the writing stages. I do know there's at least an album's worth of unreleased/unfinished Misfits songs. It would be nice if Jerry did something with them.
